Up for sale is an extremely rare RED LEGO Darth Vader Helmet. This piece is identical to the standard black version of Vader's helmet - but is RED in color. This is a genuine LEGO piece - it has not been painted or altered, and it is not a "knock-off," clone, or copy-cat piece. A truly rare collector's item - this was likely either a prototype/test mold of Vader's helmet (LEGO makes their test molds in red, as it is supposedly the cheapest color to produce - but also the hardest color to mold) or a factory mix-up. It has never been used in a retail LEGO set. With the exception of the real gold and silver C-3P0 minifigures - this is likely one of, if not THE rarest LEGO Star Wars items in existence. Even though the package would weigh less than 1 oz., the cheapest method of shipping it internationally that includes both tracking, and insurance, is $21.00, so I'm actually shipping it at a $1.00 loss. I wish there was a cheaper method of shipping this securely internationally, but there isn't. However, since you do have a high feedback rating and are in good standing with eBay, if you are willing to accept the risk of shipping it w/o tracking and insurance, and assume all liability for it if it is lost or damaged in transit, I can get it shipped out to you for only $2.00 shipping. I am happy to ship it out in that manner, if you are willing to assume liability for it once I place it with the carrier. I will obtain proof of shipment, but won't be responsible if it gets damaged or goes missing in transit. If that is acceptable to you, go ahead and purchase the lot, and then please send me an email stating that you are willing to decline the insurance and tracking, and that you will assume responsibility for the shipment once I place it with the postal system.
